バザーがいよいよ今週の土曜日になりました。
今回のバザーでは、子どもたちの発案で「自分たちの通っている学校の図書館に本を贈ろう」ということになりました。

子どもたちが通う学校はそれぞれ違いますが、校長先生や教頭先生に直接お話しさせていただいたところ、バザーの趣旨である「自分たちで考え、作り上げ、収益を自分たちの手で届ける」という活動に深くご理解をいただき、温かい応援の言葉もいただきました。

その話を子どもたちに伝えると、
「校長先生の部屋ってどこ？」「え？えりこ先生、私の学校の校長先生と話したの？」「えー恥ずかしいなあ…！」と、照れながらも嬉しそうな反応が返ってきました。

今週はいよいよ最後の準備です。
保護者の皆様のご理解もあり、時間を少し延長して仕上げに取り組む予定です。
私は当日、焼きそば担当として全力で応援します！！🔥

Bazaar Project 4

Our Bazaar is finally happening this Saturday!
This time, the children decided to donate books to the libraries of their own schools using the proceeds from the event.

Each child attends a different school, but after speaking with several principals and vice principals, we received warm words of encouragement. They appreciated the purpose of our bazaar — that the children plan, create, and deliver the results with their own hands.

When I told the children about it, their reactions were priceless:
“Where is the principal’s office?” “What? You actually talked to my principal?” “Oh no, that’s embarrassing…” — all with happy, shy smiles on their faces.

This week will be our final preparation.
Thanks to the parents’ understanding, we’ll extend our session a bit to finish everything up.
And on the big day, I’ll be cheering everyone on… with my special yakisoba! 🍳✨
